Build Quality
In terms of the materials, The earpads are made of foam, the headband is covered with leather, and the mechanics are made of metal and a super hard plastic. The mechanics are smooth, and the cable is thick and high quality. Over all the construction is incredibly solid.
I have had this headphones for almost 3 years now and the only thing I have had to replace is the left side slider. After all they still look and feel just as new as day one.
Build Quality Grade – 8/10
Sound Quality
As you can see in the picture above, the frequency response of the headphones is very flat, which is perfect for mixing music.
The bass response is super balanced, and it goes down to 10Hz which is just amazing. The Mid Range response is really flat as well, which is perfect. The treble response is decent, not super flat but not bad either, you might find it a bit too bright. Over all, really clear excellent sound.
The sound isolation of the headphones is great. It will block enough ambient sound to allow you to focus in public places, and enough to allow you to record without the playback going into your recordings. I use this as my main closed-back headphones for recordings, and for working in public places.
Sound Quality Grade – 9/10
Comfort
Before I even start to talk let me just say this – They are super comfortable!
The foam earpads are soft and wide, and they are great for long time use, so even if you wear them for 5 hours straight, it won’t hurt your head.
Comfort Grade – 10/10
Price/Value
The price of this headphones in amazon is between 150$ – 190$, which in my opinion is super worth it. The value that you get is incredibly good, so the price of this headphones is amazing, and even sort of cheap in a way.
This are by far my favorite monitor closed-back headphones for under 200$ bucks.
